ISBMR – Indian Society for Bone & Mineral Research 2024

Dear Friends,

It gives me immense pleasure to welcome you all to Chennai for the 19th annual conference of the Indian Society for Bone and Mineral Research.to be held at Hotel Westin on Feb 10th and 11th 2024. The annual conference of the ISBMR brings together international and national experts who have deep experience in research and clinical medicine. They have been invited to deliver orations, state of the science lectures, participate in debates, duologues and meet the Professor sessions. The program for the two day event has been very carefully curated to bring up to date information that will be relevant to clinicians, researchers and those in training . Endocrinologists, Rheumatologists, Geriatricians, Ob gyns, Internists, Orthopedic surgeons, Basic scientists & trainees with special interest in bone health will find this conference of great value.

Five International faculty will partner with over fifty national faculty to discuss topics like male osteoporosis, diabetes and bone, post menopausal osteoporosis , current and emerging therapeutic agents and rare disorders of the bone. The highlights will be the two orations delivered by Prof Ian Reid and Prof Satinath Mukhopadhyay, free papers by colleagues across the country and four meet the professor sessions.

This annual meeting has set the standard for quality of content , relevance , format and faculty. I am joined by the dynamic organizing team members Drs Nitin Kapoor, HS Asha, Kripa Cherian, Sahana Shetty, Lakshmi Nagendra and Shriraam Mahadevan in welcoming you to Chennai in February.
